About Elemental Homes

Founded by Architect and contractor Jonathan Coppin, Elemental Homes creates dwellings based on a model of sustainability, modern style, high quality, and healthy environments.  Elemental Homes are designed for clients who are design aware and environmentally conscious.

Jonathan grew up on a construction site where his father built their first home when Jonathan was 5yrs old.  Since then, Jonathan has continuously been building and fabricating, spending a large part of his childhood creating and building in his father’s shop creating projects from neighborhood clubhouses to go-carts.

After receiving his Master’s degree in architecture from the University of Colorado, Jonathan went to work at some of Denver’s most prestigious architecture firms, where he worked on large scale commercial projects.

After many years of living a life of endless travel, Jonathan decided to create a company that spoke to the heart of what was important to him, creating Elemental Homes – a company that would be entirely local, melding concerns about the planet with the desire to bring highly accomplished design and crafted construction directly to his clients.

Jonathan’s dream became Elemental Homes.

Elemental Homes Gives Back

Elemental Homes is committed to serving the community we live in through volunteering our professional resources and leadership. Elemental Homes is a partner with the CM Cares program established by the Department of Construction Management at Colorado State University.

The CM Cares program teams industry leaders with students to assist with construction related projects for people or families with special needs that cannot be provided through other sources. This work provides a unique opportunity to foster the education of our next generation of construction professionals coupled with the joy of helping those in need.
