Elemental Homes was founded by Architect and contractor Jonathan Coppin.  Jonathan grew up on a construction site where his father built their first home when Jonathan was 5yrs old.  Since then, Jonathan spent a large part of his childhood creating and building in his father’s workshop. After receiving a master’s degree in architecture, Jonathan worked on high profile commercial projects around the world.  Seeking a more personal connection to his work, Jonathan ultimately returned to a project scale that allowed him to be involved in every aspect of the project.  Jonathan values the individual relationships and collaboration he has with each client and has a passion for creating extraordinary homes.

Elemental Homes incorporates impactful green technology in every build.  Energy efficiency is not something you can add to a project at the 11th hour, it must be part of the original design concept.  Building orientation, material selection, indoor air quality, daylight, and energy consumption goals all must be addressed and included at the beginning of the design process. Elemental Homes strives to be an industry leader in terms of sustainable practices and are committed to reducing the overall environmental impact each home has on our planet.  Our homes are built to last and designed to create healthy environments that remain energy efficient throughout their lifetime.

Elemental Homes is committed to serving the community we live in through volunteering our professional resources and leadership.  We partner with the CM Cares program established by the Department of Construction Management at Colorado State University.  The CM Cares program teams industry leaders with students to assist with construction related projects for individuals or families with special needs that cannot be provided through other sources.  This work provides a unique opportunity to foster the education of our next generation of construction professionals coupled with the joy of helping those in need.
